Why are the Rich losing billions overnight?

Are the rich getting poorer, or are we waking up to reality beyond the exaggerated and marked-up economies and finally beginning to price brands, billionaires, and socio-economic scale back to where it really belongs?

Let’s talk about Aussie Tech Founders losing $16bn : The reality is, right now billionaires and Big Tech across the globe are losing equally big in billions because Pandemic, WFH, trying to bring teams Back to Office, Inflation, all are compounding to create a fear factor that is making the end-buyer, stock-market, real-estate investors (and beyond) nervous in their spending and investing decisions — so the sudden shave-off of wealth is but only expected phenomenon and it is likely to continue for a while.

However, there is another reality we need to understand —

In the last 7–10 years, we have ‘exaggerated’ pricing of overall ‘economic’ ‘scene’ (humor me!).

The billionaires, the Big Tech, the Start-ups, the Banks have all been in a show-off war and evaluations have reflected that in real net worth of individuals and brands.

What is really happening now is, that exaggeration is wearing off, and while it may look like pandemic played a role in it (to some degree yes), the reality is, there is a wake-up call happening and everyone is questioning ‘was it really worth that price’ — from a common citizen to the big vanity buying billionaire to hedge funds to big investor groups.

It is going to be remarkably interesting for the next 5 years!
